| Purpose of Job: |
CardBASE has an immediate need for an experienced Product Support Consultant. This is a
permanent position with an excellent renumeration package and benefits based on your skills and
experience. |

Duties & Responsibilities:
- To act as key point of contact between the CardBASE teams and the client's IT function/key business
users ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
- Track and manage the resolution of reported queries and liaise with customers to ensure SLA targets are achieved
- For new customers, structuring and lead user acceptance testing so as to ensure successful system delivery
- Create and maintain system training materials as necessary and participating or leading train-the-trainer sessions
- Pre-sales activities including customer site visits for product demonstrations and requirements gathering
- Write product collateral from time-to-time as new product features and customer deliveries take place
Candidate Requirements:
- Third Level Degree or Professional Qualification in an IT or Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience in software development or information technology environment,
ideally with at least 1 of these years gained in as a full time Product Support capacity
- A solid technical background is essential, ideally with strong knowledge of client server and
web-based computing.
- Fluent English oral, written and presentation skills while a second language would be an advantage
- Excellent
customer facing and interpersonal skills and the capability to build a
strong rapport with customers and other CardBASE employees
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel throughout the EU, Middle East and United States for customer appointments
Other Desireable Role Experience Required:
- Knowledge of software development industry ‘best practices’
- Knowledge of Windows, Unix and Oracle platforms
Remuneration:
- Competitive salary (circa €28K) including benefits Health Cover, Pension contribution.
