PIV ID Cards
To meet the requirements of the U.S. Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD 12) CardBASE
has developed an integrated PIV (Personal Identity Verification) ID Card solution to ensure the
identification and authentication of Federal employees and contractors for access to Federal
facilities and information systems. The solution has been developed to comply with FIPS 201 (Federal
Information Processing Standard 201), ensuring our solution meets the highest standards.CardBASE’s
PIV ID Card Solution underpinned by our MASCOT platform enables government agencies to securely enrol
PIV applicants through a user-friendly interface and subsequently issue cards. Furthermore our
solution manages the process of registration, identity proofing, issuance and maintenance of PIV cards
across the card issuance life cycle. PIV ID solution ensures that all key PIV cardholder credentials
can be securely updated and managed as and when required.
